94% of the time a portable fire extinguisher is used, it’s able to extinguish the fire in 2 minutes, and prevent it from spreading to other areas
ABC Fire Extinguishers
ABC fire extinguishers contain a dry chemical extinguishing agent used on Class A, Class B and Class C fires. They're useful in fires containing wood, paper, plastic, liquids, gases and electrical equipment.
K-Class Fire Extinguishers
Fires that involve cooking oils or fats are designated Class K. Technically a subclass of flammable liquid/gas class (B), the higher flash point of these fires are considered important enough to recognize separately.
Co2 Fire Extinguishers
Co2 Fire Extinguishers are used for class B flammable liquids fires as well as Class C Electrical fires as they are electrically non-conductive. Carbon Dioxide is a clean, non-contaminating, odorless gas.
Halon Fire Extinguishers
Halon is a liquefied, compressed gas that stops the spread of fire by chemically disrupting combustion. It can extinguish fire without the production of residues that could damage the assets being protected.
Extinguishers For Boats, Cars & Kitchens
Marine Fire Extinguishers
Onboard fires are one of the two most common reasons boaters are forced to abandon ship. We offer USCG-approved fire extinguishers for your boat, as well as extinguisher mounting brackets.
A small powder fire extinguisher (ABC) is all that’s required for most car fires – a 4 or 5 pound extinguisher would be adequate. We also offer an assortment of automotive fire extinguisher mounting brackets.
Kitchen Fire Extinguishers
Class K fire extinguishers are of tremendous importance to commercial kitchens. Restaurant fire extinguishers create a barrier between the heat source and oxygen so it's unable to reignite.
